The Word in Action

Meetings: Every second Saturday at 10:30 am at the church.

Our Purpose: We believe that in order to know God and to grow in His likeness, we must study the word, then apply it to our lives with obedience and faith that both transform and informs our thoughts and our actions.  

Objectives: TWA promotes adult education classes that meet from 9:30-10:30 am each Sunday before the worship service. These include the Vessels Of Honor, The Lydia Group, The Parlor Group, and the Barnabas group.

In addition to promoting Bible study TWA Also:

• Ministries host special conferences on God’s Word.
• Takes responsibility for the adult component of Vacation Bible School.
• Hosts discussions through various media e.g. movies, book studies, retreats, and manuscript study, always with a view to emphasize the importance of God’s Word and its application to our lives individually and as a believing community.
• Helps Crossroads to work out the church’s mission and purpose by developing disciples of Jesus Christ through the teaching of the Word and application to our lives.

Ways to serve: Join the team, help decide on the curriculum, coordinate with the classes, create conferences, retreats, seminars, etc.
