CROSSROADS PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

Food Drive

Proverbs 23:9
He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor.

The purpose of the food giveaway program is to feed those in our community who are hungry and in need.

On the 2nd Saturday of each month, a group of volunteers come together to sort food from the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Foods received are boxed, bagged and delivered with love to all who come.

In addition to giving out food, we engage those who come with information on accepting Jesus Christ as their personal savior. They receive pamphlets, Trac’s and information about our programs at Crossroads. Also, we haves prayed with individuals who requested prayer.

We thank God for the opportunity to serve his people.

Immediate needs pantry at the church. Stocked by volunteers

Having food to eat is a basic human need. Due to unforeseen life events like long-term unemployment, the high cost of health care, child care, and/or other financial emergencies, some of our Crossroads neighbors find themselves having to choose between paying other bills or purchasing enough food to meet their family needs.

In order to assist our neighbors who are in need of food Crossroads has set up the following Food Distribution Services:
