Focus Group

The Focus Bible Study group meets every Monday night at 7 p.m. in Lithonia. Focus originally stood for Friends of Christ United for Study! We are small in number and have been together for a very long time, considering each other as our second family. Over our years together, we have probably studied almost every book in the Bible, but we know there is always more to learn from God’s Word. In addition to studying the Bible, we also study thought-provoking authors, who may give us new insight into the world today as it relates to our faith walk. Examples of some of the authors we have read over the years are Philip Yancey, David Platt and Mike Glenn. We also use Bible Study guides. While we love studying God’s Word together, we primarily function as a support group for each other, and as a prayer group for each other and for our brothers and sisters. We believe we draw spiritual strength and renewal from our shared time together, which better allows us to serve our brothers and sisters in Christ, both in our neighborhoods and around the world.
